On the first Sunday of every month, Drop-In Studio gives everyone the opportunity to explore their own inner artist. Free with admission, visitors can explore new materials and concepts from 1-4 p.m. under the guidance of Gilcrease teaching artists in our own Creative Learning Center. With studio activities adapted for visitors of all ages and backgrounds, Drop-In Studio provides something for everyone.
During your visit, use your inspiration from our collection to make art of your own in our Creative Learning Center. This creative space provides visitors an opportunity to make a more meaningful connection to the art in the galleries, and to take-home an art project, reminding them of their visit to the museum.
Each Drop-In Studio offers visitors a chance to experiment with a new art form, with all supplies and materials are provided. Our teaching artists are there to help you learn to express yourself through new media, including etching, watercolor, pastels and more! Take a break from exploring our galleries and gardens and treat yourself to this unique hands-on art experience.
Learn from experts how you can create beautiful art of your own. Artists of all experience levels are welcome to create their very own take-home masterpiece. There are no reservations required for Drop-In Studio, and visitors of all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults.
