Our Reproductions
Our archival reproductions are made to order and are available printed on Giclee Matte Canvas or Acid-Free Archival Paper. Giclee Matte Canvas offers a superb illusion of depth due to its textured surface, perfect for any Charlie Russell or W. R. Leigh. Acid-Free Archival Paper offers the most precise detail, so works by Moran and Crumbo are best shown in this medium.
We can create your reproduction up to the size of the original (with some limitations). We will not make reproductions larger than the original work. A two-to-three-inch white border is included on all reproductions to ease in framing or stretching. If you are local to Tulsa, we can offer you discounts with area framesmiths. We offer shipping on all reproductions through UPS, at your cost, rolled in a tube for safe transit.

The Process
The process of creating our archival reproductions begins with our digitization team who photograph works from our collection in Gilcrease Museum’s in-house studio. These images are high-resolution raw images that we use for many projects in the museum. Once we have the requested image, we begin by printing a vertical or horizontal crop on the most color-varied portion of the work. We then compare that crop to the original under a standard light source. If corrections are needed, adjustments are made to the image and a new crop is printed. This is repeated until we are absolutely satisfied with the reproduction, and only then do we print the full-sized image.
