Gilcrease Museum to hold public forums for community input

March 12, 2020 – The health and safety of our community is the top priority at Gilcrease Museum. While the museum remains open and welcomes all visitors, Gilcrease Museum has canceled public programs scheduled for March 12 through April 5, including the series of six community forums.

Please be advised that the public survey to gather input on the future of Gilcrease Museum has been extended through April 5.


Museum ForumsGilcrease Museum today announced that it will hold six public forums in the Tulsa area to gather community feedback and help shape the future of Gilcrease Museum.  Gilcrease Museum leadership looks to engage the community in discussions about future exhibitions, the visitor experience including the Gilcrease gardens and grounds and how the community can be an important part of the museum’s future.

In addition to the public forums, the museum is circulating a survey throughout the Tulsa community to gain input to shape the new Gilcrease. The survey will run through March 13, 2020. It is available at gilcrease.org or through this direct link.
