Celebrate Earth Day at Gilcrease! Express your creativity at the different art making stations in the museum. Learn about the importance of bees to the health of the earth from the Northeastern Oklahoma Beekeepers Association. Explore our beautiful gardens by enjoying a nature walk and talk led by docents. Experience the music of the Tulsa Children’s Chorus as they perform their spring concert. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and picnic in Stuart Park and enjoy the day.
Do your part to reduce plastics pollution by bringing two empty plastic bottles for recycling and receive a gift, created with the help of bees.
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Art Activities – "Rain Forest Collage" (Creative Learning Center)
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Art activities – “Earthly Wire Sculptures” (Vista Room)
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Art Hunt with prizes (Masterworks Galleries)
Noon - 1 p.m.: Talk/Activity – “All About Honey Bees” (Gilcrease House)
1 – 4 p.m.: Drop-in Studio: “Additive Printmaking” (Creative Learning Center)
1 p.m.- 2 p.m.: Garden Tour (Gilcrease Gardens)
2 - 3:30 p.m.: Tulsa Children’s Chorus: Spring Concert (Auditorium)
