Developed for children and their parents/caregivers, family workshops provide intergenerational activities. Each workshop includes the opportunity to explore the museum’s collection and special exhibitions followed by an art-making experience in the studio. Workshops are ideal for children ages 5-12.

August 8, 10: Patterns & Printmaking
Patterns create lively movement in 2D images. We will play with simple printmaking techniques, exploring the patterns found in T.C. Cannon’s vivid paintings and creating our own vivid patterns by making small relief prints. This workshop is conducive to intergenerational learning and children must be accompanied by adult caregivers. $7 per child/members; $12 per child/not-yet members; Adults are free.
