Jennifer Loren, 15-year veteran of the TV business, and host and producer of “Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People,” will share her tribe’s stories.  Loren, a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation, graduated from the Gaylord College of Journalism at the University of Oklahoma and is an active member of the Native American Journalists Association and Society of Environmental Journalists. She is an eight-time Emmy nominee and has been awarded two Emmys; one as executive producer and host of “Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People,” which won best cultural documentary in 2016.
 
Following Loren’s presentation, Gillies docents will offer tours at 2 p.m. of the exhibition, After Removal: Rebuilding the Cherokee Nation.
